02Axis damping

Viscous damping for smooth manual tracking

Viscous damping on both axes turns a manual head into something that can follow a moving object without overshoot, and it settles the sensor during initial alignment.

Built not to disturb magnetic instruments

The head is constructed to work alongside a digital magnetic compass without deflecting it, which keeps a bearing taken through the mount trustworthy.
