What buyers ask before they specify a system — answered with the same figures the product pages carry.

Which system is right for my application, and what do you need to know in order to advise me?

Tell us the payload and the environment, and we will size the system. Four product families are designed to mount to one another — thermal imagers, pan-tilt positioners, telescopic masts and tripods — so a complete elevated surveillance chain can be specified from one source rather than integrated from four suppliers.

What we need in order to make a firm recommendation

  • What the system has to do: surveillance, target acquisition, communications relay, radar or antenna support.
  • Payload mass, dimensions and centre-of-gravity offset. A datasheet or a drawing is ideal; an off-centre load changes the answer significantly.
  • Required deployed height — and, just as important, the maximum retracted height you can accept.
  • Fixed site, shelter, vehicle mounted, unmanned ground vehicle, or man portable.
  • If vehicle mounted: vehicle type, floor-to-roof height, and the roof or floor structure available for the mounting.
  • Drive preference — electromechanical or manual — or let us recommend one.
  • Available power and whether the mast must operate with the engine off.
  • Environmental extremes: temperature range, wind, salt, blowing sand and dust, icing.
  • Required deployment time, crew size, and whether the mast stays up for minutes, hours or days at a time.

"Hydraulic" is often used loosely for telescopic masts. Our range is electromechanical or manual — there is no fluid reservoir to leak onto the payload you have just mounted on top.

What payload can your systems carry, to what height, and how stable are they?

The honest answer is always a relationship, not a single number — payload falls as height rises, so every family publishes a range rather than a maximum. The comparison table for each family puts every published model side by side, and those tables are generated from the same data the product pages use.

  • Wind load is quoted with a reference sail area. Without that area a wind speed cannot be compared between suppliers, which is why we publish both.
  • For positioners, accuracy, repeatability and resolution are three different numbers and are listed separately. A system can be repeatable without being accurate.
  • Ask for the load-versus-height chart for the model you are considering; it is sent with the datasheet.

To which military standards are your products qualified, and what environments can they survive?

Products are designed and tested to MIL-STD-810G for environmental conditions and MIL-STD-461 for electromagnetic compatibility, and the test and analysis reports are supplied with the quotation rather than after the purchase order. Qualification is carried out in our own Integration and Test Centre in Ankara, which is why the reports arrive that quickly.

Environmental envelope

  • Operating temperature −32 °C to +60 °C across the range.
  • Wind load 120 km/h on every product that carries a wind rating, quoted with its reference sail area.
  • IP65 where an ingress rating is declared. The rating describes the enclosure, not survival of the electronics inside under shock or temperature — those are separate qualifications.

The certificates held, with their numbers and issuing bodies, are listed on the Engineering & Manufacturing page. A quality policy, an information security management system policy and an environmental, occupational health and safety policy are published in full.

How do your systems integrate with my existing payloads, vehicles and command-and-control software?

Everything is built around published interface control documents and standard military interfaces. Because the imager, the positioner, the mast and the tripod are all ours, the mechanical and electrical interfaces between them already match — which removes the integration risk that normally sits between four different suppliers.

  • Positioners, masts and tripods accept third-party sensors, antennas, radar and electronic warfare units. Payload interface plates are manufactured to your drawing.
  • A manual positioner has no electromagnetic emissions at all, which makes it the preferred choice under sensitive radar, EW and antenna payloads.
  • Send us your payload ICD and we will confirm mechanical, electrical and protocol compatibility before you order.

Can you modify a product to my requirement, or design a new one from scratch?

Yes, and custom engineering is the core of the business rather than a sideline. Every product in the catalogue began as that kind of work. If a catalogue product does not fit, the team that designed it is the team that adapts it.

Three levels, least expensive first

  • Configuration of a catalogue product: payload plate, connectors, surface finish and colour, gear ratio, slip ring line count, communication protocol, speed and torque limits.
  • Variant of an existing platform: a different section count, stroke or drive type on a proven structure.
  • Clean-sheet design to your specification, delivered against your ICD and qualification plan.

Evidence that the engineering is original

  • Turkish patent application 2013/12816 for a magnetorheological semi-active damping system, which received a positive search report on 30 March 2016.
  • The same project won the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries award and the Ostim award at the New Ideas New Business competition held by METU Technopolis.
  • Patented mechanisms are in serial products today, among them the hybrid screw drive on the MES20 and MMS20 masts and the zero-clearance interface on the TML10 tripod.

How do I get a quotation, and what are your lead times?

Lead times start at four weeks from order for a configured catalogue unit. We quote against your requirement rather than publishing a price list, because payload, interface and environment change the configuration and therefore the price.

  • Send the data points listed in the first question and we will return a budgetary quotation with a firm date, before the purchase order rather than after it.
  • Configured variants and custom design programmes are quoted individually.
  • Export control is addressed in the Terms of Use. Nothing on this site is an export permit or a supply guarantee, and the end-use country is asked for on the quotation form.

What warranty, maintenance and long-term support do you provide?

Warranty is two years as standard across all four product families. The first answer to maintenance, though, is to design it out.

Maintenance designed out

  • Sealed electromechanical mast construction, so there is no field servicing on unmanned platforms.
  • Independent braking on each axis of the powered positioners, which holds position when drive power is removed rather than relying on gear friction.
  • Automatic sequential flange locking on the locking mast family, which removes manual collar setting and the safety risk that goes with it.
  • Surface finish is a configuration choice, not an afterthought — anodising, conversion coating, plating and paint systems are listed with their codes.

Because design, machining, electronics production, integration and test are all in-house in Ankara, repairs, spares and obsolescence are handled by the same engineering team that designed the unit. There is no third-party supply chain between you and a fix.
