Abstract
The invention relates to an end cover (1) that closes one end of a transport case (2) and through which cables are passed into the case. The outer face (3) of the end cover (1) has a recess (7) with a sloped floor (8). The recess (7) is covered by an access cover (4) hinged (5) along its upper edge and closed with captive spring-loaded screws (6). At the bottom of the recess (7) is a connector plate (9) set back from the outer face (3). The plate (9) carries split cable entry frames (10) through which pre-terminated cables are passed, and is attached to the end cover (1) over an EMI gasket (12). Cables are passed through and connected while the end cover (1) is fitted to the case (2); the case stays closed and protected.
