Transport Case Made Up of a Cabin and a Detachable Air-Conditioning Module

Abstract

The invention relates to a transport case (1) made up of a cabin (2), in which electronic equipment is installed, and an air-conditioning module (3) detachably connected to one end of the cabin (2). The air-conditioning module (3) consists of a segment body (4), which has the same cross-section profile as the cabin (2) and is connected to it with latches (5) of the same type as those of the parts closing the cabin ends, and a cooling cassette (6) slid into this body on rails from its outer end. The cassette (6) carries the compressor, condenser, evaporator and fans together. The outer end plate (13) of the cassette (6), which carries the condenser air inlet and the user interface, seats on a gasket frame in the segment body (4) and closes the outer end of the body. The supply and return openings on the inner face of the cassette (6) open into the cabin (2) without a separate air duct. The cassette (6) can be replaced without separating the air-conditioning module (3) from the cabin (2).
