02Zero backlash

Cross roller bearing and 22-bit encoder

A high-strength cross roller bearing carries the load and a closed-loop 22-bit encoder reads position, which is what holds repeatability to 0.031° with no rotational play.

03Radar and antenna

36-line slip ring rated for 30 million turns

The rotator is built for installations that turn continuously. The slip ring carries HD-SDI and 1 Gbit Ethernet through 36 lines and is rated for 30 million revolutions.
