Inner Power and Signal Line That Extends Itself as Tubes Are Added to the Column

Abstract

The invention relates to a self-extending inner line for mast systems with a column (2) that passes vertically through a tripod head (1) and is extended by adding tubes from below. Each tube of the column has an inner conductor (6) with a connector (7, 8) at each end; when a new tube is pushed under the column, the connectors mate by themselves. The lifting plate (9) carrying the lowest tube of the column has a spring-loaded floating plate connector (10), which connects to the lower connector (8) of this tube, and a socket (12) for the supply cable (13) coming from the ground. The inner line therefore extends by itself as the column grows, no cable is left outside the column, and because the plate always stays near the ground the length of the supply cable does not change.
