Simulation

Loads on bearings, actuators, brakes and end stops are established in simulation before those parts are selected, and the control algorithm is verified on its target processor.

Mechanical, electromechanical and electronic design, structural and thermal analysis, multi-body dynamics, hardware-in-the-loop simulation and embedded software. Design decisions are taken and verified here before anything is cut.

Simulation

Multi-body dynamics verifies the kinematics of a mechanism and puts realistic loads on bearings, actuators, brakes and end stops before those parts are selected. Hardware-in-the-loop runs the control algorithm on its target microprocessor against a simulated plant, so the loop is tuned before a prototype exists. Rapid virtual prototyping shortens the distance between a design change and its measured consequence.
